Nikon Announces Z6 and Z7 Full-Frame Mirrorless Cameras
Nikon has launched its first full-frame mirrorless cameras, the Z6 and Z7. Both are powered by its EXPEED 6 image-processing engine and have native 5-axis stabilization.
The devices will only be compatible with all-new Z-Mount lenses out-of-the-box, but the company has released a $250 'FTZ' adapter for compatibility with its standard F-Mount lenses.
Nikon Z7
The Z7 has got a 45.7MP BSI CMOS sensor, and ISO levels range from 64 to 25,600. It’s got 493 focus points and can record 4K videos at up to 30fps. It can also shoot standard 1080p videos at up to 120fps. The Z7 is priced at $3,399.95 (body-only).
Nikon Z6
The Z6 packs a 24.5MP sensor and has an ISO range of 100 to 51,200. It has 273 focus points and can focus in dim lighting conditions down to -4EV. It can also shoot 4K videos at up to 30fps like the Z7. The Z6 (body-only) has been priced at $1,999.95.
